This kit is in it's original box which is in good condition as can be seen in the photos.
This model was adapted from one originally designed by Irv Schulz in HO Scale and reproduced by George Peters in N Scale. The hoist mechanism is underground. The design calls for the use of side dump ore cars -which roll off of the car hoist and over the ore bin where good ore is dropped into the ore bin while tailing are taken out onto one of the two trestles and dropped over the side.
